Roger was born, raised and educated in the State of Maine.  He is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine, earning his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude. 

Roger is also a veteran of the United States Navy destroyer fleet serving both off the United States East Coast and in Europe during the 1970’s.

Roger held various positions in the State of Maine and eventually joined Georgia Pacific and was then relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.

After a long career in the paper industry, Roger relocated once more. This time it was to the City of Tampa, where he was offer the position of City Audit Director.

Roger has successfully moved up the "Career Ladder" until one day he was introduced to the John Maxwell Principles.

He was instantly sold and shortly thereafter he was certified at a great IMC (International Maxwell Certification) program held in Orlando.

He has successfully launched his new career as a certified Maxwell Team Member and is the leader of The Roger Strout Consulting Team.
